4th Annual Cancer Benefit Boogie on the River 2013

The Southbound Band had another successful performance for the 4th year in a row at Boogie on the River in Maryville, TN. The benefit began as a tribute to Brently Mancini, his mother Belinda Clayton who hosts the event every year was quoted as saying “You are my boys inspiration and drive more than you all could know, to have the whole band there this year was priceless. Boogie on the River is not just about helping others, it’s about being with those special ones that you don’t always get to see and making memories.”

Southbound is very happy to have joined with Belinda Clayton in this fund raising effort. “We feel strongly that this fundraising program will benefit others, not just by raising much needed funding, but also by raising awareness and potentially offering assistance where it is needed. We are excited and look forward to participating next year.”

Southbound has worked with David Allan Coe, Confederate Railroad, Heidi Newfield, of Trick Pony Fame, Joey and Rory, Gretchen Wilson, Trent Tomlinson, and the Kentucky Head Hunters. Southbound has also been featured multiple times on WJSQ’s “Rising Stars” with Bill Hughes in Knoxville, TN. Southbound continues to carry on the tradition of Outlaw County Music.
